Stone Floor Lamp

This table lamp by Maria Loram brings together hand built ceramic and an interwoven paper shade in a materially focused composition. The sculptural base features a richly textured surface with mineral variation that reflects the firing process and the physical nature of the clay. The paper shade, made from Japanese sourced paper produced in Thailand using mulberry fibers, softens and diffuses light while highlighting its visible grain and structure.
